As we approach the solemn observance of Good Friday and the joyous celebration of Easter, we at NHPUK take a moment to reflect on the profound significance of these events.

Good Friday marks the day when our Lord Jesus Christ was crucified at Calvary, a sacrifice made out of unconditional love for humanity, especially those who believe. It is a day of remembrance and reverence, a time to contemplate the depths of Christ’s compassion for His people and the price paid for their redemption.

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” – John 3:16

Easter Sunday follows, a day of great rejoicing, for it commemorates the resurrection of The Lord Jesus Christ from the dead. This miraculous event is the cornerstone of the Christian faith, symbolizing hope, renewal, and the blessed promise of eternal life.

“He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.” – Matthew 28:6

As we celebrate these holy days, let us embrace the spirit of forgiveness, love, and the peace that surpasseth all understanding. May we also remember the less fortunate and those in spiritual darkness, extending a hand of kindness and charity, reflecting the teachings of Christ in our actions.

We wish all of God’s people a contemplative Good Friday and a blessed Easter.
