An indigenous British man called Dennis cannot get a job. Winston, from the West Indies, and newly off the boat in the late 1940s gets the job instead on a lower wage.

Winston works his way up the pay scale and starts a family. He has a son called Wayne. Wayne applies for a job, but instead the firm employs Ismail who has just arrived here from Bangladesh. Wayne wonders why he cannot get a job at the same rate as his father.

Ismail settles down and, like Winston, progresses in pay, starts a family and soon his son Yusef applies for a job. But he does not get the job.

He is undercut by Wladislav, imported directly from Poland under EU free movement. Wlad works hard, and increases his pay, and just like Winston and Ismail before him he starts a family.

Soon enough his son Lech is ready to work. Though he is willing to work hard, he wonders why he has to accept less than his Dad.

Well, you see where this going. Immigration suits the first generation immigrant, but it can undercut their children and so on. Who wins with each generation though – who always wins?

Remember – Capitalism = immigration.
