NHPUK campaign to introduce three changes to the electoral process.
1 Make it compulsory to vote, as is the case in Australia. An option on the ballot paper would be available for ‘none of the above’. People who didn’t vote without a valid excuse would be fined.
2 Introduce a law that would make it illegal to host a hustings during an election without inviting all the candidates.
3 Introduce proportional representation.
