Delivered on behalf of the National Housing Party UK
My fellow Britons,
He is risen! Alleluia!
On this glorious Easter morning, the stone has been rolled away. The tomb is empty. Death has been defeated. Jesus Christ, who was crucified for us on Good Friday, has conquered the grave and brought life and immortality to light. The same power that raised Him from the dead is available to every person, every family, and every nation that turns to Him in faith.
Britain stands in desperate need of that resurrection power today. For decades we have wandered in a long valley of national decline — endless housing shortages that crush young families, communities fractured by mass immigration, and an economy held hostage to globalist international elements beyond our control.
Yet Easter declares that no grave is final. What has died in our country — our sovereignty, our self-reliance, our Christian character — can live again through the risen Lord.
As a Christian nationalist party, the National Housing Party UK rejoices in the empty tomb because it renews our conviction that Britain was called to be a light to the nations, a New Jerusalem upon this green and pleasant land — not a vassal state! We believe this land and its people have a divine purpose.
That purpose begins at home: providing secure, affordable energy, work and food so that British families can put down roots, raise children in the fear of the Lord, and build stable communities anchored in the Gospel. A nation that cannot feed itself nor fuel itself is a nation that has forgotten the God who provides.
On this Easter Day we pledge our desire for the self-sufficiency Britain needs and indeed deserves — a traditional Britain for our people, on our land, under our own laws.
Easter also calls us to resurrection in our national life beyond housing. Britain must rise again to true self-sufficiency. For too long we have been dangerously dependent on foreign energy, foreign food supplies, and foreign finance. This vulnerability has left us exposed and weak.
A resurrected Britain will till its own soil, harness its own resources, secure its own borders, and rebuild the industries that once made us great. Self-sufficiency is not isolationism; it is wise stewardship of the inheritance God has given us. It is the practical outworking of loving our neighbour by first ensuring our own house is in order.
This Easter, we also declare that Britain must embrace genuine neutrality in the conflicts of the Middle East. The endless wars and entanglements in that region have cost British blood and treasure for generations, with little benefit to our own people — and yet it serves the interests of those who hate Christ. Let us especially remember the Christian peoples, indigenous to the Middle East in our prayers.
We have no divine mandate to fight other nations’ battles or to spill our soldiers’ blood in distant deserts. Britain’s role is not to act as global policeman or to fuel perpetual conflict through unquestioning alliances. True Christian statesmanship demands that we prioritise the safety and prosperity of our own islands, pray for peace in the Holy Land where our Lord walked, and refuse to be drawn into foreign quarrels that do not serve the British people. Neutrality rooted in Christian prudence is not cowardice — it is wisdom.
My friends, the message of Easter is one of hope and transformation. Just as Christ transformed despair into joy, betrayal into forgiveness, and death into victory, so He can transform Britain.
A Britain renewed in faith will once more be a sovereign Christian nation: secure homes for every British family, self-sufficient in food and energy, at peace with itself and wisely neutral abroad, and unashamed of the Cross that stands at the heart of our history.
Let this Easter Sunday mark a new beginning. Rise with Christ. Reject the spirit of decline. Embrace the future God has prepared for those who love Him. Pray for our nation. Work for its renewal. And stand with the National Housing Party UK as we fight to restore a Britain that honours the Risen King.
May the joy of the resurrection fill your hearts and your homes. May the power that raised Jesus from the dead raise our beloved United Kingdom to new life.
Christ is risen!
He is risen indeed!
God bless you.
God bless the National Housing Party UK.
God save Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
