Restoring Britain’s Moral Foundation
A Call to Repentance and Restoration
As a Christian Nationalist party committed to the sovereignty of God over our nation, we affirm that Britain was founded on biblical principles of justice, family, and the inherent dignity of every human life, created in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). The Abortion Act 1967, enacted under the government of Harold Wilson — a suspected Communist — and effective from 27 April 1968, marked a tragic departure from our Christian heritage. It unleashed a holocaust of unborn children that has decimated our native population and undermined the command to “be fruitful and multiply” (Genesis 1:28). This policy pledges to return to pre-1968 laws, where the deliberate taking of innocent life was rightly prohibited, echoing the Sixth Commandment: “Thou shalt not murder” (Exodus 20:13). We campaign to repeal the 1967 Act, criminalise abortion as homicide, and provide robust support for mothers and families to choose life — ensuring Britain’s future is secured by its own people under God’s blessing.
Core Policy Commitments
- Legislative Repeal and Protection
We would introduce legislation to repeal the Abortion Act 1967 and the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Act 1990, restoring the pre-1968 legal framework that protected the unborn from the point of conception. Exceptions would be limited to life-saving medical interventions for the mother, verified by independent ethical panels guided by biblical principles. - National Support for Life
We would establish a “Cradle Fund” — offering tax incentives, maternity grants, and free childcare for families — to affirm that children are “a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him” (Psalm 127:3). Adoption reforms would prioritise Christian families, fostering a culture where “children are a crown to the aged” (Proverbs 17:6). - Education and Repentance
Mandatory school curricula would teach the biblical view of life from conception, as in Jeremiah 1:5: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I set you apart.” National days of prayer would seek forgiveness for the “shedding of innocent blood” (Proverbs 6:17), urging repentance as a nation. - Enforcement and Accountability
Medical professionals performing illegal abortions would face prosecution, with resources redirected to maternal health. We would audit and defund any organisations promoting abortion, redirecting funds to life-affirming charities.
The Scale of the Tragedy
10.8 Million Lives Lost
Since the Abortion Act took effect in 1968, over 10.8 million unborn children have been aborted in the United Kingdom — an average of one every two minutes. This genocide of the innocent dwarfs any other demographic shift in modern British history, robbing our nation of generations who could have contributed to its vitality, industry, the sciences, and Christian witness.
As Scripture warns:
“Rescue those being led away to death; hold back those staggering toward slaughter. If you say, ‘But we knew nothing about this,’ does not he who weighs the heart perceive it?” (Proverbs 24:11–12)
The Lost Generation
An Estimated 20 Million Britons Denied Life
If these 10.8 million children had been allowed to live, conservative demographic modelling — accounting for survival rates (approximately 95%, based on UK infant and life expectancy trends) and average fertility (1.8 children per woman over the period) — suggests that between 18 and 22 million people and their descendants would be alive today.
- Early abortions (1968–1980s) → adults now in their 40s–50s with 1–2 children each
- Later abortions (1990s–2020s) → younger cohorts with fewer offspring to date
This “lost generation,” woven together by God in their mothers’ wombs —
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made” (Psalm 139:13–14)
— represents a fifth of our current population, a void that has accelerated our ageing society and strained resources.
A Stark Contrast
Replacement Migration’s Demographic Flood
In the same period (1968–2025), cumulative net migration to the UK totals approximately 8–9 million people, based on Office for National Statistics data showing low inflows (under 50,000 net annually) until the 1990s, rising to peaks of 700,000+ in recent years.
Including descendants — assuming similar fertility rates to natives — this adds an estimated 14–16 million to our population:
- ~10 million foreign-born
- ~4–6 million second-generation
Thus, while abortion has extinguished a potential 20 million native Britons, uncontrolled migration has imported a comparable number — fundamentally altering our Christian cultural identity without the consent of the people.
This inversion mocks God’s design for nations:
“From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands.” (Acts 17:26)
Conclusion
Choose Life for a Godly Nation
The United Kingdom stands at a crossroads: continue one of the many Wilson-era betrayals, or return to our pre-1968 covenant with life?
We choose the latter, for:
“Whoever does not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.” (Mark 10:15)
Join us in building a nation where every child is welcomed as a divine gift, and our people flourish under the Lordship of Christ.
For God and nation — and the unborn.
