Dear members, supporters and donors.
August was one of the hottest months we have had in the UK for a long time. Many members have renewed their memberships with us and we have had new members join too. We have a potential new candidate in Scotland for 2027. John Lawrence has been working hard in Oldham recruiting another potential candidate for 2027, making it three for Oldham next year. Lee Bishop continues his canvassing campaign in Bedford, with Patrick McGinnis visiting and helping him one Saturday.

We also have a new local seat in Essex that we will be targeting.
John Lawrence continues his campaign against HMOs and hotels in Oldham housing unwanted asylum seekers.

NHPUK was the first to talk about the 1951 UN Refugee Convention and has campaigned tirelessly to scrap it. John has been regularly protesting outside the Victoria Hotel in Hollinwood Ward and the Holiday Inn, Manchester Road, Newton Heath.
John and his North West team have also attended around 10 public meetings with Labour councillors, Reform councillors and community police in attendance regarding the hotels and HMOs. Other political parties have also been emailed regarding this crisis.
NHPUK executed a successful White Lives Matter banner drop at St Paul’s Cathedral, central London. This was in memory of Henry Nowak. We successfully obtained great footage and photos of the event, with all the leadership taking part in the activity.
