NHPUK campaign to make Saint George’s day a bank holiday in England to bring it into line with Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, all of whom have bank holidays on their patron saint’s day.
NHPUK campaign for a dedicated English parliament alongside the Westminster Parliament. This would make it consistent with Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland all of whom have their own parliaments. After four years, a referendum would be held on whether the UK would go back to having one centralised Westminster Parliament. The whole of the United Kingdom would participate in this referendum, including Northern Ireland.
